Guess What....Marketing Works

There is nothing more pleasing than a happy client. It's the aim of every business to have happy clients, right? Okay we need to be profitable as well but ultimately the goal for every business is to have happy clients.

We recently embarked on guiding a new client to the benefits of targeted, personalised and contextual marketing rather than mass, blanket emails to all and everybody.

In this instance we started with an introductory email, offering to help a targeted segment of our client's clients, nothing too sales-goal driven, just a plain and simple offer to help.

We pressed the send button at 09:30 this morning.

The screenshot shown is the text received from the client this morning, less than two hours hour after sending their very first curated marketing email to a very specific, segmented audience. (Names have been obscured for GDPR).

Nothing makes us happier when marketing works for our clients and nothing is more satisfying for us than a happy client saying thanks.

 

Negative feedback is good too

Which brings us nicely on to our next hot topic, customer satisfaction polls.

Nothing speaks louder than customers telling other existing (and potential new customers) about your service. A great way to gauge how well your business is doing is to poll your customers, which can be in the form of a Customer Satisfaction Survey or NPS Survey.

Although lots of businesses shy away from these kinds of polls, probably due to fear of hearing something negative, even negative feedback can be a great measure of how well a business is doing.

And if the feedback is negative it gives you the opportunity to improve.

Positive feedback, particularly in the early stages of a new product, service or business launch is invaluable to the success of a new product, service or business.  Customer authentication is an invaluable tool to growing a business's position and authority in a market.
